Valiant
Deserted and desolate. Together,
united and rejoicing. Triumphant in segregated steps of victory and an
overwhelming sense of belonging. He triggers morbid atmospheres and renowned
condemnation. My current state does not reflect my overall standing, nor does
my current state reflect where I will end up. Surrounded by wails, weeping
hearts and tormented spirits, I am in the valley with you believer. Can you
see, we’re reflecting depressing odds of failure and demoralizing circumstances?
There is sorrow and its even tide. We can’t sleep, but perk up, because there
is promise of fathomable joy in the morning. The norm is, that we are weak and
have lost our minds. The norm is, that we have no idea of pleasure and have
been blinded by a fib of a religion. Why then are we pressed down and
persecuted for a lie and are not left alone for a moment of a faithless belief?
Who is in the dark and without understanding? Me or you non-believer? See, I am
valiant and void of fear. Brother, sister, there is hope! Valiant doesn’t mean
the absence of fear but the presence of courage. Brethren, set your mind on the
things above and be of good cheer, for he has overcome the world. Everything in
the good news was designed for your good and rigged for a trying victory.
Trying times, your precious faith will be tested for originality and validity.
Be valiant, dauntless and let every Psalm expedite your doubt to the court of
joy and peace. Let your worry and unbelief be arrested by comfort in the power
of His Spirit who comforts you.
Give me that good old time
religion. Faith like a mustard seed to remove mountains. Steadfast patience to
outlive seasons of deep dark carved out valleys. Bottomless pits of troubled
waters, valiant character stands out like a shining super nova. Think on it,
that which is good, that which sustains your soul and refreshes your spirit,
meditate on it and let it guard your heart for all the days of life. An
imperfect being in an imperfect world, loved by a perfect God who gave a perfect
son. Believer, you are a cut out silhouette image of the first born son, whose
name is above all names. We draw our strength from living waters and eat from
infinite sustaining bread. I only hunger and thirst for righteousness. My only
ambition holiness and my heavenly calling, love. Predestined for greatness and
supported by a holy host of flaming messengers of fire who are valiant in
might. Love who you have become and your nature no longer fallen. Be grateful
of the perfect sacrifice and offering of your sin. Don’t look to the left nor
to the right, and definitely don’t look back. His word is the perfect mirror
beholding your broken image needing saving grace. How he has completed the
rescue mission and now made you more valiant and not in yourself, but in Him.
See, you are, because He is. We are not because we deserve to, but because he
is merciful and His grace never ends nor does it fail. Valiant, courageous,
heroic and fearless, hold on to the gospel and take firm courage believer,
because in due time, you will reap and eternal weight of glory. Amen.
